3 Twitter Apps Built in 3 Days Using Infochimps API

File under “slightly old news”: Back in April, Mike Melanson (Austinite) reported on a a push by developers to create a few Twitter apps built on the Infochimps API.  His article is worth the read and explains in-depth the 3 apps launched over a single weekend, but here’s the TL;DR:

  • Plum.ly – developed by Steve Odom of Twnty, this app takes a deep dig into Twitter data to find Twitter accounts based on any scenario that you can imagine and sorts them by their TrstRnk (Twitter Influence Score)
  • TweetDegree – developed by Adam McCombs & Robert Bahn of Tae Cho Group, TweetDegree can take a user and show who they interact with.
  • TweepleFight – developed by Infochimp Flip Kromer, TweepleFight compares users agains one another in µBb (microBieber) units.
